AUSA SUNCOAST CHAPTER

Welcome to the Suncoast Chapter of the Association of the United States Army, supporting the entire US Army Family in the Tampa Bay Area and West Central Florida.

As part of the Third Region, we are the oldest AUSA Chapter in Florida with a tradition dating back to nearly half a century. We are a 501 c3 Non-Profit, educational organization and actively support America’s Army including Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, Army Civilians, Retirees, Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Gold Star Families and JROTC/ ROTC. Our chapter leaders are all uncompensated volunteers and donate over three thousand hours of volunteer work annually.

Join us, and share our vision. We have numerous opportunities for members, volunteers and concerned citizens who wish to engage with and serve the regional military community. We also work together with sponsors who wish to support the Army in our area. Talk with us about your ideas, and we will try to turn the vision into reality.

For over four decades, our all-volunteer team has supported numerous educational, and professional development programs in the region surrounding the Tampa Bay Area. These include ROTC/JROTC programs, the Gold Star Parents, Wounded Warriors, Veterans Training, Army History and several other programs. We have committed to provide several scholarships to JROTC programs in the coming academic year. Major chapter activities during the coming year are the JROTC Scholarships, the Army Birthday Celebration in June 2023, the Independence Day Dinner at the Fisher Houses in Tampa and the Military Thanksgiving Dinner in November. This year’s Army Birthday celebration will be hosted by the Suncoast Chapter. We are pleased to launch the Jenkins Military Leadership and Entrepreneurship Academy for 2023.
