AUSA Suncoast Chapter

Welcome to the Suncoast Chapter – Association of the United States Army Website.

Welcome to the Suncoast Chapter- Association of the United States Army Website.

As part of the Third Region, we are the oldest AUSA Chapter in Florida with a tradition dating back to nearly half a century. We are a 501 c3 Non-Profit, educational organization and actively support America’s Army including Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, Army Civilians, Retirees, Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Gold Star Families and ROTC/JROTC in the West Central Region of Florida including the military communities of MacDill AFB, US SOCOM and USCENTCOM.

We are actively seeking new members including individual members, community partners and national partners who share our vision. We have numerous opportunities for leaders, volunteers and concerned citizens who wish to interact with and serve the regional military community. We are actively seeking sponsors who wish to support the Army, and we can offer many programs to support the specific needs and interests of sponsors from community groups, defense industry, charities, and the local businesses.

For over four decades, we have supported numerous educational, and professional development programs in the local region surrounding the Tampa Bay Area. These include ROTC/JROTC programs, the Gold Star Mothers, Wounded Warriors, Veterans Training, USO, Army History and several other programs. We have committed to provide several scholarships to JRTOC and Gold Star Mother Programs in the coming academic year. Major chapter activities during the 2018-2019 year include the Hooah Golf Classic Fundraiser in April 2019, and the 244th Army Birthday Ball in June 2019, as well as the 2019 Warrior Games. This year’s Army Birthday Ball will be hosted by the USSOCOM and co-sponsored by the Suncoast Chapter. Lastly, in June 2019, the Suncoast Chapter will support the 2019 Warrior Games which are being hosted by USSOCOM.

We look forward to meeting you all and playing the leading role in serving as the voice for the Army and supporting the Army Family in our region.

Please contact us at any time with your ideas and feedback.
