It was a great pleasure to have AUSA Third Region President, Bruce Fletcher visit the Suncoast Chapter in January. As president of the Third Region, he is responsible for chapters in NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, PR and Panama. During his visit, we had the opportunity to meet with various chapter leaders to discuss strategic plans, challenges facing the chapters, and define best practices for chapter operations. We also made office calls to LTC Mike Norton, Commander of Tampa Recruiting Battalion and COL Ron Tucker, USA Ret. , JROTC Director for Area 9 Schools.
